Here are a few of the photos I took of the Glastonbury Town Players Pantomime at the Assembly Rooms in 2010. For anyone who hasn’t experienced the phenomenon that is the annual Glastonbury pantomime this should give you a sense of it. Going for 30 years the Panto has featured hundreds of Glastonbury’s residents, both incomers and local, of all ages. I think it’s been a great unifying force in the town, despite the fact it has often been the vehicle for remorseless piss taking. Looking back at these I am reminded that we have some incredibly talented, and funny actors, and that the amateur dramatics doesn’t always take place on the High Street.
